the Iceni [the Iceni]
a tribe of ↑Celtic people who lived in the area of eastern England which is now ↑Norfolk and ↑Suffolk around the first century AD, when England was part of the Roman Empire. Their queen ↑Boudicca led the Iceni against the Romans around AD 60–62 but was defeated.
